Hats Off to Xojo for the 2025r1 Release

All I can say is wow! I was already anxiously awaiting this release for a particular issue that was resolved, but boy did I underestimate how much it would be like Christmas morning!

<in jest>
But alas as my good buddy Null Pointerson exclaimed upon reading the release notes, “How dare they! Did you see the new window menu that got added?!? How are any of the new programmers going to cut their teeth on things when you teach them short division from the get go. You’re stealing their childhoods unless if you force them to do long division first!”
</in jest>

But never mind Null, as he’s close to meaningless :wink:, and in all seriousness, I’m thrilled to see all the great things in this release. There’s so many wonderful gems I discovered when reading through the release notes…

<in jest>
I’d be remiss though in not pointing out what my other good buddy Dr. Loopy McStackoverflow shouted upon seeing the new plist editor for macOS, “You did it. You crazy son of a gun, you did it!”
</in jest>

I generally don’t take him too seriously though as he’s often a bit off, usually by one, :wink:. And yes, there’s of course a zillion plist editors out there, but there’s nothing quite like having one always at your fingertips that’s baked into the Xojo IDE.

Kudos to the Xojo team on continuing to fix bugs, bring new features to the product and always pushing the envelope on what the product can do.
